Day 1
I have been thinking for a while on how I will format my work. I think I will start off with a few simple things.
- Diet
- Exercises
- Extra "Activities"
- Picture of the Day [Hopefully take one everyday for the rest of the year, to be consistent I will take them with my iPhone because I know it will be with me all the time. I will also take them in a well lit area to prevent shadows]
DIET
I am using a website to record my meals to give me a breakdown of nutrients, calories and other good stuff. I will report more about this in a later blog entry.
I actually did not eat a "dish of kung pao chicken." My mother threw a party and she cooked like 10 dishes of assorted Chinese food. I just guesstimated with the kung pao chicken on how many calories I consumed.
I will discuss the reason behind my diet in further detail in a later blog entry. But looking at what I ate today I am proud to say I am happy. The did not over binge on the foods and choose healthy options.
EXCERCISES
I followed my "Tuesday" rest day cardio/ab routine. Look here.
EXTRA ACTIVITIES
The only other physical activity I did today was shovel the driveway, two sidewalks adjacent to the house, and the porch by hand. Took about an hour and a half. At the end I was completely drenched in sweat. Probably knocked off a few hundred calories.
PICTURE OF THE DAY
My aim is to hopefully get one of these posts either everyday or every other day for one year with progress pictures taken for each post. This will provide me with motivation and if I succeed possibly provide other people with motivation and something to look forward to.
