Beef in Oyster Sauce Recipe
This dish is a little more difficult the the previous ones. It is really delicious and is worth the trouble. There is some preparation time though. I will now show you how to make this.
INGREDIENTS
- Beef [Cut into strips]
- Half Dollar Chunk of Ginger
- Oyster Sauce
- 1 Head of Scallion
- Black Pepper
- Corn Oil
- Cooking Wine
- Salt
- Corn Starch
- Baking Soda
- Sugar
PREPARATION
- Cut your beef into strips.
- Now it is time to marinade your beef strips for at least 30 minutes.
- Add 1 tsp of cooking wine.
- Add 1 tsp of salt.
- Add 1 tbsp of corn starch.
- Add 1/2 tsp of baking soda.
- Add 1/4 tsp of sugar.
- Mix this together.
STEPS
- Cut the half dollar size chunk of ginger into fairly large strips.
- Turn on your stove, and throw these onto your skillet.
- Pour 2 tablespoons of corn oil into the skillet.
- Let this heat for 20 seconds.
- Throw the meat in.
- Stir fry the meat.
- When it is starting to get done, throw in 1-2 tablespoons of oyster sauce [A good indication is that the beef will be shiny]
- Cut up your scallion into little pieces.
- Throw this into the skillet with the beef.
- Now add the put a few dashes of black pepper into your dish.
- Mix these up.
- Enjoy!

Hey, This dish looks delicious! I was wondering what specific beef you used for this recipe. Was it bought from an Asian market?

Hey Ashley,
Any time of beef will work, just pick a cheap good looking chunk and than slice it into little strips like those above.

Just FYI, you wrote “half dollar chunk of garlic” in the directions, and “half dollar chunk of ginger” in the ingredients.
