Chinese Spinach Recipe

This one is phenomenal. I've always liked this as a kid and this is why I love spinach now. I've never had a problem with vegetables growing up with this style of cooking. I will show everyone how to make this:

Home Meal 1

INGREDIENTS

  • Chinese Spinach [Variety of spinach where you can see a pink stub at the base]
  • Olive Oil
  • Clove of Garlic
  • 1 TSP of Salt

STEPS

  1. Clean the Chinese spinach really well.
  2. Home Meal 1

  3. Empty your sink a few times to ensure optimal cleaning.
  4. Throw the spinach into a drainer.
  5. Home Meal 1

  6. Boil a pot of water.
  7. When the pot boils, throw the spinach inside.
  8. Home Meal 1

  9. Wait for the pot to boil again, take the spinach out immediately.
  10. Home Meal 1

  11. Drain the spinach.
  12. Home Meal 1

  13. Heat a skillet.
  14. Throw in a clove of diced garlic.
  15. Throw in 2 tbsps of olive oil.
  16. Let this simmer for a while, so the flavor can come out.

  18. Throw the spinach into the skillet.
  19. Stir fry this around a bit.
  20. Home Meal 1

  21. Add 1 tsp of salt [Add less at first, than taste test it to see if you need more]
  22. Take it out and enjoy!
