American Cabbage Dish
Finally a dish with a recognizable vegetable! This makes the best cabbage you will ever taste.
INGREDIENTS
- American Cabbage
- Salt
- Sugar
- Oil
STEPS
- Wash your cabbage. [I used half a head]
- Peel it and break it into pieces with your hand.
- Drain it.
- Pour 2 TBSPs of Olive Oil your skillet.
- Let it heat up for a few minutes.
- Throw in the cabbage.
- Put a cover over it so it can cook faster.
- Once it is soft, you are now ready to add salt and sugar.
- Turn off your stove.
- Add 1-2 TSPs of Salt.
- Add 1 TSP of Sugar.
- Thats it! Enjoy!

Yanyan, I’m assuming you cook for yourself in your apt? or dorm?
Have you ever been to the Korean BBQ’s and got the cabbage dish? Is it anything like that? I like the simple foods and that looks pretty simple.

Yea 50% of the time I cook for myself.

haha. no man, i’m not talking about kim chi. i’m part asian (do you not remember the pm i sent you about the funny video of you squatting? + mom) so thats whats making me laugh. not that you knew or anything but ya. I’m talking about a cabbage dish they have thats very simple. looks like your dish. it’s a common side they have at korean bbq’s. but, then again, you may not have korean bbq’s where you are.
