Sweet Potato Cakes

Had these for lunch the other day. Had 14 of them, they were SO good! This is the #1 meal I've had since coming back, it is healthy and the more delicious than any cake. They are made of...

  • 2 Sweet Potatoes [Steamed for like 20 minutes, then mashed]
  • Mixe in gluttonous rice flour until able to mold, consistency like cookie dough.
  • Add 2 TBSPs of red bean paste inside. [Thought this was chocolate as a kid]
  • Than slather this with sesame seeds.
  • Add 2 TBSPs of olive oil in a skillet and fry away on each side.

  1. Wow. This looks really good and exemplifies the reason I hate being away at school. I miss preparing my own food and trying out new recipes. Definitely saving this one for May.

  2. Yea this is a great recipe, I’m home for spring break so my mother makes the most amazing culinary inventions ever. When I come back home in May [Leaving for school tomorrow] I’ll have her make this again and I’ll post step by step screenshots. But it really is a simple recipe, I think i’d be able to pull this off myself too since it only is a few ingredients.
