Whey Tech Pro 24 – Banana Creme Review
During the BodyTech sale, I picked up 10 pounds of protein. One tub being Banana Creme and the other tub being Chocolate Mint. Just opened up the Banana Creme today and here is what I think.
I mixed 1 scoop of Banana Creme with 8 OZ of water.
- SMELL - The powder has a very artificial and chemical smell. It is fairly strong and masks the original flavor when you sniff the bottle.
- MIXABILITY - Took about 20 seconds of shaking and everything dissolved. No visible/tasteable chunks.
- CONSISTENCY -With 1 scoop in 8 OZ of water, it was fairly thick. It really reminded me of a smoothie. It was weird because all it took was me shaking it up. The consistency is MUCH thicker and richer than Optimum Nutrition Double Rich Chocolate. I give this a thumbs up!
- TASTE - After mixing the powder, I took a sip. There is still a lingering artificial smell but it is quickly masked by the flood of banana and creme flavoring. Other than the slight chemical feel, it is an AMAZING drink!
- INGREDIENTS - It is basically a rip off of Optimum Nutrition protein for a better value. This is a great protein!
OVERALL RECOMMENDATION
If there was another sale, I would stock up on this protein. With the only drawback as having a slightly bad smell, it is well worth your money!
