excited to see how the purple intrain treats you…

oatmeal chicken eh? that sounds a bit iffy haha. i didn’t see salt/pepper in the recipe you had below although i may have over looked it. it just sounds strange.
what is your workout when hitting a plateau?
just wondering for future reference because currently in week8 of a 5×5 (now in a 3×3 phase) and for the first time, i didn’t hit all my reps.

It tastes better than PW, lacks the bitterness if you don’t use enough water. The carbs/protein add a nice flavor.
I typically don’t salt/pepper my chicken
But it would taste pretty good if you did add salt/epper.
HEavy singles IMO is best way to break a plateau.
Let’s say your max is 365 squat. Do 345 for sets of 5 to 7 for 1 rep.

Hey yanyan, I tried the chicken recipe on tofu; I added salt, thyme, and onion powder to the oatmeal and it worked well.
whats the difference between purple intrain and purple wraath?
July 29th, 2009 - 13:40
That sounds delicious.
I would personally add salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, maybe a touch of cayenne powder as well. But when I’m making recipes I try to keep it simple to give a base.
Purple InTrain is designed with carbs and protein that can be beneficial during hard workout sessions. It also has a slew of other unique ingredients that PW does not have.
Purple Wraath on the other hand is designed as a 0 carb 0 calorie product to allow you to versatility add it into any stack.
Personally you can go with either one and be happy. I would suggest trying both and seeing which one you like better OR do one scoop of either.
Result wise, you may respond to one better than the other, but will be different for everyone.

Hmm sounds good, I sampled Wraath before and thought the taste/mixability was the best out of the intra w/o products I’ve tried so far. I’ll sample InTrain sometime. I’m sure they formulated it with easy digestibility in mind, but still I think it’ll be difficult to keep down when you are drinking it in between sets of squats or deads.

Oh InTrain is VERY easy to take down. You will have no problem drinking it during the workout.
On the taste scale InTrain DOMINATES Purple Wraath IMO.
:p
