DIET

Woo it is my birthday! Didn't really keep track of calories.

  1. Gaspari Myofusion, Oatmeal, Organic Soy Milk
  2. Kim Chi + Mackerel Pike
  3. Dark Chocolate Square

I'm stuffed.

EXERCISES

Had a problem today with a severe headache like yesterday in the middle of incline benching. I think I got one of those "infamous" exertion headaches. I narrowed it down to a few variables.

  1. Not enough carbs, essentially diet took a 180 at home, need to find a good balance.
  2. Bad pre-workout "meal," haven't been timing things well and probably have been lifting on close to an empty stomach with little/no carbs.
  3. Heat, I went from a cool workout gym to my basement which is fairly warm.
  4. Pinched nerve in neck, I have a weird soreness/dull ache near my top left trap, maybe this is pinching a nerve in my neck.
  5. Incorrect breathing...

Who knows caused this sudden burst of pain in my head. I'll try changing things up tomorrow... hopefully I don't get the same headache again.

EXTRA ACTIVITIES

Lots of walking shopping.

Pretty awesome birthday. Just ran into some problems putting together my longboard because (1) the wheels STILL have not shipped. (2) the machine screws sent were of the wrong length...

Put together some homemade slide gloves and I am ITCHING to try these out. I also placed an order for a new camera since I dropped mine yesterday. It is basically the same model with a slight upgrade. HD video capabilities!

My goal is to have a pain-free upper body workout tomorrow. Wish me luck.
