2 Years of Searching… The JOURNEY is OVER!

I've been looking for a store that sold Almond butter for the LONGEST time, and it was RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE! I was shopping at Super Target and BAM on the VERY top shelf WAY above eye level was a shelf full of magic. I am FINALLY popping my Almond Butter/Sun Flower Butter virginity. People have been talking about the magic that happens with these butters and I've been dreaming for this day for a long time.

Also found this crazy Cinnamon Raisin Peanut Butter Swirl.... I can die happy now.

New Diet Proposal

I need to be more strict on my diet. So this is my new diet proposal for the weekdays.

Basically the day will revolve around five meals. Meal #2 is really small because I have a huge block of classes at that time. I'll have options to move random fruit around and granola bars depending on what I'm feeling. For meal #4, I'll switch between pork and steak.

I'm feeling pretty good about this, looking for inputs from other people. Here is a similar plan for the weekend.

Flat Top Grill Revisited

Went to Flat Top Grill again [Yesterday night to blow off steam from my one roommate screwing me over], as it is possibly my favorite restaurant to go to now because I craft my food choices and thus I know only healthy stuff goes in. I went with my cool roommate Jeff and his future roommate Ben who is possibly one of the coolest and smoothest people I've ever met.

These are ridiculous, what kind of crap are they trying to sell now? Slap whole grain onto pop tarts to make it appear more healthy? Wow... Plus pop tarts are WAY too sweet IMO.

Cool Whip – The Missing Ingredient

I found the perfect ingredient in making every bodybuilding meal feel like a guilty cheat to Cold Stone... The secret? Cool Whip!

I buy Cool Whip Lite. At 20 calories per 2 TBSPs, there is no need worry about it being horribly unhealthy. What can you do with this?

  • Throw it into cottage cheese to make ice cream. [Check recipes...]
  • Throw it into oatmeal for a creamy taste.
  • Eat a spoonful, literally like taking a bite of ice cream.
  • Throw it in yogurt.
  • Throw it into anything you want sweet!

I usually take a few spoonfuls and mash it up in my food. The taste is so strong that you don't need that much Cool Whip in anything. I feel the tub could last me a few weeks. I suggest buying a tub and playing around with it, it adds the flavor I've been missing in many of my meals. Who says you can't have "ice cream" everyday. I'm craving my meals more and more now thanks to this awesome topping.

I don't buy the spray cans because they are too easy to eat. Just open your mouth and half the can is gone. With the Cool Whip tubs, I believe you get better flavor as well as better control.
