Chinese Green Bean Dish

This is a very simple and delicious dish. It requires a special Chinese green bean that you can find at oriental stores. It is out of the ordinary and adds wonders to your diet.

Home Meal 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5-2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • Chinese Green Beans [You can identify these as foot long green beans]
  • 1-1.5 Teaspoons of Salt

STEPS

  1. Wash the green beans very well. Fill a sink with water and empty it a few times while washing the green beans.
  2. Home Meal 1

  3. Once clean, take a handful of green beans and break them into quarters.
  4. Put these in a drainer so no water is left.

  6. Heat your skillet on medium.
  7. Pour 1.5-2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil into your skillet. [The amount does not really matter]
  8. Put the green beans into the skillet.
  9. Put a lid over them.

  11. Let this sit for 5-10 minutes until thoroughly cooked. [Take a bite out of one to see if it needs more time]
  12. Turn off the skillet.
  13. Throw a little bit of salt (1-1.5 TSPs) onto the green beans. [Taste test it to determine if you need less or more salt]

  15. Mix the green beans.
  16. Enjoy!
