New Zealand Clams Recipe

If you are a fan of seafood, this is a recipe for you. I love shellfish and this is a great recipe! It is a little more difficult the the ordinary recipe but is well worth the trouble. Here is what we are making:

INGREDIENTS

  • New Zealand Clams
  • Home Meal 1

  • Silver Dollar Size Chunk of Ginger
  • Corn Oil
  • Soy Sauce
  • Home Meal 1

  • Cooking Wine
  • Home Meal 1

  • Sugar

STEPS

  1. Fill your sink with water.
  2. Soak the clams in there for a few minutes.
  3. Clean them off.
  4. Home Meal 1

  5. Put them in a bowl.
  6. Turn on your stove.
  7. Pour 2 tbsps of corn oil into your skillet.
  8. Chop your silver dollar size chunk of ginger into a few potato chip slices.

  10. Throw your clams into the skillet.
  11. Put a covering over it.
  12. Home Meal 1

  13. Stir fry this around for a bit every few minutes, right before all the clams are fully cooked and opened start adding the rest of the ingredients.
  14. Add 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
  15. Add 1 tbsp of cooking wine.
  16. Add 1 tsp of sugar.
  17. Stir fry this around a bit more in different intervals, you can leave the lid on most of the time.

  19. Once all the clams open up, you are about done.
