Purple Wraath Lemonade

Hell yea! I just got my box of Purple Wraath Lemonade. As promised, this is a video of me opening up the box. Yes I am such a nerd/sound like a chick when excited!

Included in the box was...

  • 1 Tub of Purple Wraath Lemonade
  • 1 Skull Cap

I took a picture immediately of the skull cap worn on the Purple Wraath Lemonade because I'm a geek!
Supplements

Then I must test it on myself! This is boring me without the skull cap on...

Supplements

HOLY SHIT! This is me now with the skull cap on. AWESOME!

Supplements

YAY! I always wanted a skull cap, I'm so excited I can't wait to wear it around. What makes this day even better is that I finally got the rest of my supplements too! That means three boxes of goodies to open!

Supplements

This is my supplement stash now =)! The Gainer/Muscle Tech belongs to my roommate.

Supplements

A closer look at my stash!

Supplements

My two new tubs of protein. Yum...

Supplements

What a great day, hopefully I have time to try out the Purple Wraath Lemonade... Maybe tomorrow or late tonight!

Christmas is Coming Tommorow!

On February 29th, I ordered a massive amount of supplements. I felt that I should cross the threshold and take myself to the next level. My genetics are not the greatest for bodybuilding, and sometimes I feel I've pushed myself to the limit.

Looking at this chart:

Bench Press - Adult Men

114 84 107 130 179 222
123 91 116 142 194 242

Untrained

Expected level of strength in a healthy individual who has not trained on the exercise before but can performit correctly. This represents the minimum level of strength required to maintain a reasonable quality of life in a sedentary individual.

Novice

A person training regularly for a period of 3-9 months. This strength level supports the demands of vigorous recreational activities.

Intermediate

A person who has engaged in regular training for up to two years. The intermediate level indicates some degree of specialization in the exercises and a high level of performance at the recreational level.

Advanced

An individual with multi-year training experience with definite goals in the higher levels of competitive athletics.

Elite

Refers specifically to athletes competing in strength sports. Less than 1% of the weight training population will attain this level.

I am 135 pounds while I rep 205 for bench press... That isn't even my max. I can probably push up to 225-230 for my max, maybe even higher. I'm basically between an "Advanced/Elite" athlete. That sounds complete sick and unbelievable. I've never tried out my full potential for my max but looking at this "Predicting One-Rep Max" calculator, it gives me an estimated 246 one rep max. I know for a fact I would not be able to do this, but with hard work and dedication I think I would be able to.

At this point, I feel I have taken my body and genetics to the brink. With an extra boost from some new supplements I can really step up my game. Here is what I ordered.

Order Details Price Paid Price Now
White Blood ( 90 Each Capsules) $24.99 $27.95
Purple Wraath Grape ( 542 Grams Powder) $29.49 $44.99
White Flood Electric Lemonade ( 305 Grams Powder) $22.49 $34.99
Whey Tech 24 Chocolate Mint ( 5.15 Each Powder) $16.99 $33.99
Whey Tech Pro 24 Banana ( 5.15 Each Powder) $16.99 $33.99
Total $110.95 $175.91

I saved $64.96! That is another reason why I decided to buy some more supplements because of the amazing deal that BodyTech.com was giving during the Arnold convention. Here is a quick overview of what I bought.

White Blood and White Flood are NO products. The difference between them is that White Blood is in a pill form and does not contain caffeine while White Flood is a powdered form with caffeine. White Flood is the stronger version and is very similar to the famous NO-Xplode. I felt that Controlled Labs make solid products and gave me the best bang for my buck. These NO supplements are taken pre-workout and should give me extreme pumps at the gym.

I chose Purple Wraath because it is an intra-workout drink that supplies you with energy as well as faster recovery when working out. I need to use this more to get a real feel for it, but when I sampled it, I was pumped for nearly 3 hours after my workout.

I chose BodyTech Generic Whey because I read the reviews and it seems to have the exact same nutrient profile as the Optimum Nutrition Whey and is made by the same manufacturer. Might as well save a few bucks, the taste is supposed to be similar and possibly even better.

I believe I am a non-responder to creatine and I hope these supplements will give me the extra energy and push in the gym to pass my genetic limits.

Extra Boosters

I'm excited, my shipment of protein and creatine came in the mail today [Interesting... WordPress or Firefox does not recognize creatine as a real word]. Bought them from Vitacost. I choose them for the price and low shipping.

I've had protein before, and I am very excited to try out this one after reading the reviews. The second container is "ProLab Creatine Monohydrate -- 1000 Grams." It cost $22 dollars. I have never in my life tried creatine before. I did a lot of research, and the Monohydrate type of creatine that has most research done with it. The only real side effects are bloating. I thought I should start with the most basic because I have never been on creatine before.

Vitacost

I haven't decided when I will start my creatine, I am thinking February 1st. The ingredients are listed as...

Pure Creatine Monohydrate
Maximum Muscular Development
Creatine is a natural compound found in our bodies that plays a powerful role in energy metabolism. Oral supplementation with Prolab's Creatine Monohydrate can help maximize energy output during intense training to help you reach the next level. This amazing nutrient maximizes strength, performance and muscular development.

Those are the current supplements are my disposal. I will start using the 100% Whey Protein once I get to school and start using the Creatine Monohydrate on the start of February.

There are also supplements that are recommended for everyone, no matter if you are lifting are not. The reason for fish oil is that it gives me essential fatty acids that are important in health. They contain omega 3s and 6s that are good fats for your body.

Vita

A multi-vitamin is also highly recommended. It is sometimes hard to get all your vitamins and minerals for the day. Taking a multi-vitamin helps alot.
